
Ultimate Cuban Sandwich
In my family, one of the best traditions was to always bring a Cuban sandwich when going to visit my Grandma’s Sister. Guess what? That is her favorite way to break a diet. My Grandma already passed away, but we still visit her sister and keep that tradition. Lucky us!
So now that I live far away from my Grandma’s sister, I don’t have a good excuse to get Cuban sandwiches. So I decided to learn how to make them. And oh Boy! I’m obsessed with Cuban Sandwiches! is it the bread? or the delicious pork? Either way each bite is glorious!

Ingredients
2 Large loves of Italian Bread or 1 French Baguette
4 Tbs of Garlic Mayo
4 Tbs of Yellow Mustard
6 Slices of Pickles
12 OZ of Sweet Ham (Thickly Sliced)
3 Lb Mojo Pork (Sliced)
4 Oz of Swiss Cheese
4 Tbsp of Butter (Spreadable)
Directions
- Heat a sandwich press over medium heat.
- Cut the loaf in half, along the length of the bread to prepare a sandwich.
- Spread mustard on each half.
- Spread the garlic mayo over the mustard. On one piece add the pickles, sweet ham, pork, cheese.
- Slap the two piece together and Press the sandwich, until the cheese melts and the ham and pork is warm.
