Paprika Whole Fish

My husband and I like going to the fish market to get fresh fish pretty frequently. After trying so many types of fish, we always go back and buy rockfish. If you haven’t tried it, I highly recommend it. Rockfish is easy to cook because most spices go well with it. This recipe is not limited to rockfish, you can make this recipe with any white fish like Cod, Mahi-Mahi, or Stripped Bass.

Paprika is one of the most used condiments in Latin America, and that’s why I decided to use it. What I love about paprika is its smoky flavor, but it is not overpowering. This recipe is great for a weeknight meal: Quick, filling, and healthy.


  • 1/4 Cup of Parsley (Chopped)

  • Juice of 1 Large Lemon

  • 4 Tbs of Vinegar

  • 1 Tbs of Paprika

  • 1 Tsp of Salt

  • 3 lb White Fish (I used Rockfish)

  • 1 Lemon (Sliced)


  • In a bowl mix parsley, lemon juice, vinegar, paprika, and salt.
  • Using the mix, pour it all over the fish and let it marinate for 30 min. I like to Stuff the fish with the lemon slices as well.
  • Preheat the oven to 450F.
  • Bake the fish for 10 minutes each side.
  • Then, broil for 5 minutes each side.
  • Enjoy!
