Orange, Carrot, and Ginger Juice

In Colombia there are a bunch of food trucks selling fruit, juices, veggies, flowers, and anything you could imagine. When I was in College, I used to stop by an orange juice stand and get a large orange juice for only a dollar every day. I have to admit that I’m a snob when we talk about fruits….Fruits in Colombia are amazing any time of the year (There, it rains a lot and we don’t have seasons), so it’s hard to get my head around that you can only find couple fruits depending on the season. But now that I leave in California I can bring back old traditions!

If you have kids, this is an easy way to sneak Veggies and extra vitamins in their meals!


  • 2 Carrots (Peeled and Chopped)

  • 2 Cups of Fresh orange juice (about 7 Oranges)

  • 1/8 Tsp of Ground Ginger


  • In a blender add carrots, orange juice, and ground ginger.
  • Blend for a minute.
  • if you don’t like pulp, strain the juice.
  • Serve!
