This pork is inspired by a traditional Cuban recipe. My husband and I learned to make this a few years ago, when we were trying to make the perfect pork shoulder. This meat will be everything you want: Tender, juice, flavorful, and easy to make. This is one of my favorite recipes when I’m busy. I usually make sandwiches, eat it with rice, or salad.
Place in a crock pot cook on low heat, the pork shoulder, orange juice, lime juice, cumin, oregano, crushed red pepper flakes, bay leaves, garlic, salt, and oil for 7.5 hours.
After the pork has been cooking for 7.5 hours, add cornstarch, stir, and cook for 30 minutes.
