KC BBQ Sauce

I have been trying different BBQ sauces from the store, but none of them are as good as the one I used to eat in Kansas City. I decided to make my own recipe and it actually turned out pretty close to Kansas City’s BBQ sauce. This recipe is quick and easy, only 4 steps: 1. Buy the ingredients 2. Measuse ingredients 3. Mix 4. enjoy.

The best part of making your own sauce is that you can change the ratios and make it more tart, sweet, spicy, etc. I know you will like, just try it.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Cups of Ketchup

  • 1/2 Cup of Granulated Sugar

  • 1/4 Cup of Brown Sugar

  • 1/4 Cup of Cider Vinegar

  • 1/2 Tbs of Dijon Mustard

  • 1/2 Tbs of Worcherstershire Sauce

  • 1 Tbs of Garlic

  • 1 Tbs of Ground Black Pepper

  • 1/8 Cup of Water

  • 1 Tbs of Molasses

  • 1/2 Tbs of Salt

  • 1/2 Tbs of Onion Powder

  • 1/4 Liquid smoke

Directions

  • Mix all ingredients.
  • OPTIONAL: If you want the sauce a little thicker, bring to boil and reduce.
